How to Care For Your Knitwear: We always suggest hand washing your knitwear as merino and lambswool takes a little extra care. Hand wash unless Gazman care instructions advise that machine washable is appropriate. When machine washing pay attention to the cycles and temperatures your machine has on offer, we suggest selecting the most delicate option and always a cool cycle. Most laundry powders are too harsh on wool knits. Our team suggest investing in a wool wash that will be softer on your knitwear. When drying your knitwear simply dry flat and out of direct sunlight. When storing your knitwear, make sure to fold the item at the seams to avoid fold lines. Do not hang any knitwear items as this may affect the shape and retention of the garment. How to Fold a Sweater: Lay the knit face down on a hard, flat surface. Fold the right side in approximately halfway. Fold the right sleeve over and down. Repeat this on the left side to create a rectangle. Starting from the top, fold once or twice, depending on the length and bulk of the sweater. Flip over. Our folding solution can be used for all knitwear from rugby jumpers to merino knits and crew neck sweaters. But don’t stop there, give your knitwear the respect it deserves through proper storage.
